My music...
I first started song writing and performing around the age of fourteen, at that time I was greatly influenced by the great 50's artists like Buddy Holly, Elvis, The Everly Brothers and the great country artist of the day.
Hank Williams ("move over cold dog the hot dogs moving in"), Burl Ives "The Ugly Bug Ball, The Runaway Train" great comedy/ novelty songs that have stood the test of time.
Scotland has made a major contribution to this style of music, "Donald where's yer trooser's", "The Jeelie Piece Song", "The Wee Cock Sparra" to name just a few.
I have a whole lot of fun writing and performing, and self penned comedy/novelty songs like "Marathon Man and Irn Bru" enjoy radio play as far a field as the USA.
One particular highlight for me during a tour of the United States was meeting the great country music hall of fame legend George Jones while I was being interviewed for a radio station in Las Vegas.
